Loving the Snow!

Today we enjoyed snow that was supposed to be rain..we like the snow much better. George got all ready and tried to go to work but had trouble getting down our hill so he called his work and let them know he couldn't make it. I am so glad that he did not chance it, our neighbors got stuck so their daughter went to get them and then she got stuck and they all had to walk up our hill. It got slick fast out there.

We really enjoyed the snow and playing in it. We threw snow balls and ran and chased each other, they made snow angels. We really wished we had a sled though. I think we will try using a box tomorrow if the rain has not washed it all away.
So much fun to see all of God's marvelous handiwork.

Luke is 3!!!

Luke and his best friend Jonathan
This little girl came up and asked for a piece of cake so we gave her one...a few minutes later she brought Luke $5..too sweet!

Jonathan helped Luke open the present he got him...a Handy Manny phone.

They loved blowing at Granny :)

Blowing out the candle...wonder what he wished for?

Smile everyone...I just noticed Luke is not in the picture?

He enjoyed wearing his hat.

Anna taking a ride on Lukes ride..He followed her with his leaf blower.

George's favorite picture.

His favorite present the leaf blower (well that and the fishing rod)

Wow time flies. My little man is now three. He is growing up so fast and is such a handful. He no longer uses bottles or pacifiers..they have been gone for quite some time..or diapers (well he does still use one at night). He LOVES John Deere tractors and wearing his cowboy boots (some of you already know that). We celebrated at Chick fil A..Jonathan has several food allergies and he is able to eat there and we like it too so it worked out. Luke is such a momma's boy...sometimes I think the cord will never be cut for him..lol. I know I will miss it when he grows up. We are so glad that God blessed us with him! There is never a day that he does not put a smile on my face! We love you Lukie!!!

Report Cards!!

Well Report Card day is here and both of the girls made the honor roll. Ashley was given a ribbon which made her pretty happy..for some reason she did not get one last time?? Erin is actually taking four high school credit classes and is doing really well. I just can't believe that she will be at the high school next year! So sad..she will be legally grown in four years. And then my little Anna will be going to Kindergarten in August!! We are also thinking of sending Luke to preschool. He will need someone to play with since Anna won't be here.

Since I am throwing grades out..I made three A's and two B's (One was an 89.56 ugh.. 90 is an A) Those were the first B's that I have made since I started back to school:(
George made all B's...but his classes are harder than mine.

Pray for me...I will be taking the Praxis exam this Saturday. It is a test I have to pass to get into the teaching program at Tennessee Tech. It begins at 7:30 and it is around four hours long. Wish me Luck!!

Let It Snow!!

We enjoyed the snow today..wished there was more but thankful for the snow we got. I always love a free day from school. Luke was able to try out his new wheels that he got for Christmas..."A Big Green Tractor." He can't wait until this summer when he get's to cut the grass. He keeps telling George that he won't cut it too short. Anna was about to jump out of her skin..I think she woke up with her coat on. Ashley kept asking to take the dog out so she could spend a little extra time outside. And last but certainly not least, Erin had Ashlyn over to help her enjoy the snow. I am such a party pooper though, I would not let them stay out for more than ten minutes at a time...it was just way too cold. In the morning Anna and Ashley have their first Upward Cheerleading game. They are very excited and have their uniforms already laid out. Tis the season!! It is such a beautiful time of year!!

Anna was super excited!!
Probably not the best day for the first test drive..the snow was slick and we had to walk behind him and push. Ashley is always a big helper!

Ashlyn and Erin on the sled..they borrowed the neighbor's yard.

My precious baby girl..she is growing up :(
Ashley posing for the camera.
I waited a little late to get this picture...we were going in and Luke was not happy about that.
